Volunteers:
We are asking for coordinators to assist with some tasks during the retreat. These tasks include:

Food Servers: We are asking for a church to serve one meal. This requires 16 men, 14 servers with 2 alternates, to serve one of the six meals we will have during the retreat. The skill level is the ability to place a spoon of applesauce on a plate (as an example).

Table attendants: We are looking for approximately 26 youth who would be willing to work during the weekend event to place condiments on the tables like pitchers of coffee, gallon jugs of milk, loaves of bread, etc. They would also assist with some of the kitchen clean up.

It is our plan to provide housing and to place small buckets on the tables and have the men place tips in them. The young people could then divide the tips equally at the end of the weekend. These young people would be very busy over the weekend. We are asking for seniors in high school and older boys to participate. In the past due to the generosity of the men attending each young person has been given approximately $125.00 for their help over the weekend.

EMT’s : In accordance with Oregon State laws we are looking for EMT’s who would be willing to volunteer, if the need should arise, to help someone with an emergency health problem. We have an EMT who is willing to work as the coordinator and we will supply hand held radio’s to assist with any type of communication that is needed. We could use 3 - 4 more of these qualified individuals to assist us.

Food preparation: We need approximately 26 people who are willing to assist us with the overall food preparation. These folks would be extremely busy assisting the head cook we have already secured for the weekend. These would need to be people who are devoted to serving others. We have a head cook, assistant cook and several others willing to assist with the cooking and serve us in this area. We still need additional people to assist the head cooks. We also need other volunteers to assist with parking and registration tent activities. If you have men who are interested in any of these activities please contact the hot line number listed below.
